THE 3.0L LN7 By MEANMERC aka. STMERC

Owner: Claude St.George

I was surprised to find such a nice 1982 LN7 and am happy to present one of the most remarkable cars in the group.

First Sight

There are many things that make this car stand out. Most noticable is the perfect paint
and body panels, add a custom hood, 15" EGT wheels, partial rollcage (under construction),
and Reccaro seats, and you have a very attractive package. The body kit is from a 1987 model EXP.

Getting Behind The Wheel
The dash is very striking with the white faced gauges, Autometer gauges and Monster tach.
The steering wheel is by Grant. Aluminium pedals have been installed as well as an alarm system.

THE 3.0L VULCAN

This is engine number four for this car and is what makes it special. The motor is estimated
to have 150+ HP, and 160 ft/lbs. of torque. It is fitted with a K&N Cool Air Cone,
a Jacobs performance ignition, and twin pusher cooling fans.

Engine Number Three, The 2.3L

This is a photo of the car when it had a 2.3L joined to a 5-speed gearbox. To date, there
have been four different motors in this car. It came from the factory with a 1.6L, 4-speed
transmission. Not having enough power for this owner, it soon grew to a 1.9L, joined to a 5-speed.

Other modifications include:Oversized front swaybar, Bosch headlights with
blue ion bulbs, KYB suspension (for now), larger battery, and Monza exhaust.

Thanks Claude (meanmerc), for sharing your 1982 LN7.
